Justin, a 16-year-old High School student, admits he spends a lot of time on his phone. He says he really likes technology. What teenager doesn’t like technology? However, when you see him on his phone, you may be wrong about what he’s doing.
Inspirational Thoughts
Justin shares how he likes to use technology.
“I like to use technology for good by sending out an inspirational thought each night that I find helpful in my own life and that might be helpful in someone else’s life. I send them to a variety of friends and family members that I’m close with.”
“I got this idea recently from my cousin who does a similar thing in using technology for good. I liked the idea and felt like doing it myself. This experience of sending out a text with an inspirational thought has helped me find something positive in my day each evening. Others have told me that it’s helped them as they’ve received something positive and inspirational. I’ve been doing it for about a year and a half.”
“In this world where technology can be used for good or bad, it’s helped me find a way to use technology in a positive way that has benefited my life and helped me connect with others in a positive way. I hope that others out there can choose the good that technology offers, as well, to help the world use technology in a better way.”
